Experience the best of tennis with TennisCambridge, where leadership meets creativity to bring you top-notch tennis facilities and coaching. Join us in our mission to make tennis in Cambridge accessible year-round!
We are a non-profit organization that integrates the leadership and creativity of the four Cambridge tennis clubs to expand tennis availability in a growing population. We have the support of TennisCanada and we aspire to acquiring a year-round, indoor tennis facility in Cambridge.
Our outdoor tennis clubs boast state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance your playing experience and help you reach your full potential. However, our clubs operate at full capacity and some have waiting lists.
With the expansion of city of Cambridge hockey arenas such as the Preston auditorium, the Cambridge Sports Park, and the Galt Multiplex, the city has issued notice that at least three (3) arenas will be decommissioned by 2025/26/27. This announcement complements the TennisCanada/Rogers grant designed to support conversion of decommissioned community arenas to tennis facilities.
The 3 arenas suggested by the city for decommissioning are:
1. Dickson Arena
2. Duncan McIntosh Arena (Churchill Park)
3. Karl Hommuth Arena
Over the coming months and years we will be making preparations to move in as a not-for-profit club, serving residents of Cambridge and surrounds and Kitchener on a year-round basis. The city of Cambridge have acknowledged that they will notify TennisCambridge of arena developments.
Join the vibrant tennis community represented by TennisCambridge and connect with fellow tennis enthusiasts who share your passion and commitment for winter tennis in Cambridge.
Complete a short survey including your preferences, if any, for one of the three (3) upcoming available arenas.
Together we are stronger
